Little Joys Philosophy
While children have their own uniqueness, Little Joys will enhance your child’s current abilities in all developmental stages. An open-ended, play-based environment will give your child the opportunity to use their imagination and use materials as your child pleases. Your child will be cared for in a way that provides safety and security, in addition to maintaining a fun and playful environment. Providing meaningful experiences to children are what help them grow in all developmental domains. Building a reciprocal relationship with children; both as an individual, and a whole group, will assist Little Joys in meeting the specific needs of your child. It is important for parent/family involvement in their children's everyday life as they discover who they are.
About Me
My Name is Nicole, and I have an absolute passion about working with children. I've had many years of experience caring for my own family members which include 6 cousins, 3 nephews, and 1 niece! My family and friends would say I am a natural born caregiver and baby whisperer. I find satisfaction in witnessing children reaching their milestones. But I would say that nothing can replace seeing a smile on their face or hearing their sweet little laughs.
I am currently working my way to receiving a Degree in Childhood Development. Through the process, I have worked with children through classes that were taken at Mission College, which has shaped my way around how to work with children effectively.
Enrollment
Little Joys Childcare is now accepting enrollments for younger infants, older infants, and toddlers for our full time and part-time programs.
